<trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
<title>Highlights</title><p>Highlights </p>
<title> </title><p> </p>
<title>Abstract</title><p>Abstract</p><p>The last decade of cardiogenetic studies focused on inherited germline mutations. Recently researchers demonstrated a significant role of cellular heterogeneity, somatic mosaicism, and clonal hematopoiesis in the risk of coronary disease and acute vascular disorders. Up-to-date technologies, such as single-cell sequencing and mass cytometry, have made it possible to reveal fundamentally new mechanisms for the development of cardiovascular diseases. This review discloses cutting-edge data on atherosclerosis and vascular disorders, focusing on cellular heterogeneity, somatic mosaicism, and clonal hematopoiesis.</p>
</trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Атеросклероз</kwd><kwd>Клеточная пластичность</kwd><kwd>Соматическая мутация</kwd><kwd>Клональный гемопоэз с неопределенным потенциалом</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Atherosclerosis</kwd><kwd>Cellular heterogeneity</kwd><kwd>Somatic mutation</kwd><kwd>Clonal hematopoiesis with uncertain potential</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group xml:lang="ru"><funding-statement>Исследование поддержано грантом Российского научного фонда № 22-25-00745.</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Herrington W., Lacey B., Sherliker P., Armitage J., Lewington S.
