В представленной статье на основе обзора существующих рекомендаций и мнения экспертов приводится современный взгляд на проблему клинической значимости лечения пациентов с фибрилляцией предсердий, ее патофизиологические основы и выбор оптимального катетерного или хирургического способа абляции.

There is a current view on the problem of clinical importance of the treatment of patients with atrial fibrillation, pathophysiological basis and selection of the optimal catheter or surgical ablation method, based on review of current guidelines and expert consensus is in this review.
