В обзоре приводятся основные направления по искусственному замещению функций печени, делается акцент на теоретических и практических возможностях создания биологической искусственной печени, разделов оптимизации: модификации мембран, выбора клеток для протезирования функции и создания благоприятной биологической среды для функционирования клеток.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Liver failure is a major life-threating condition associated with the highest degree of mortality.
